Walter Benjamin had the same problem when writing , as all prophetic texts have. His prophetic sentences are not enough explanatory and so bound to wild interpretations. This vagueness leads to all sorts of hijacking, which is the favorite pastime of intellectuals, leaders and rulers. The game is how to pervert a concept and claim it is the original truth. Or how to hit a shit into the fan.
Benjamin essay on “Capitalism as religion”, written around 1921 (!!!!) is clairvoyant by all standards.But, it is only, meagre 6 pages!
So, to put it into a pilot history trash wave, it was written ca. 7 years after the invention of the FED as the Private Central bank of the USA.
Fed, the moment it was born, was a hijacked and perverted idea of public bank money creation, perverted and privatized by the Oligarchy.
The WB essay went unnoticed, by intention or by idiocy of the progressive Left even in today time..
Witchdoctors, not so perfect, but even better than the Italian translation: ” Capitalism is the immense consciousness of Guilt.”
NOW, here lies the catch. Guilt is in german Schuld, which is the synonym, it has the same meaning as DEBT. Debt is Guilt. Italian translation misleads, heavily, or intentionally. It explains it a little in a footnote.. which is kinda …. nothing.

Benjamin prophetically links Nietzsche as the thinker of this desperation who is , by killing God ( WD abbreviate conclusion) from and because of human desperation, constructing the new Overman- Ubermensch, AS THE FIRST (like Adam) entity to build, accomplish, and implement the new Religion of Capitalism.
So, even before reading this Walter Benjamin short essay, Witchdoctor came to the same conclusion. Nietzsche was the first propagator of Idolatry Capitalism as we know it!

THE DOGMA AND THE PRIEST CAST- THE COMMUNIST/SOCIALIST deviation.

Communism and Fascism or Nazism are a sort of shades or grades of State Capitalism controlled by the ruling Caste of Priests. It is a simplified , planned and controlled exchange economy. Like, how many liters of milk has to be produced, or how many shoes, to accomplish the Plan according to the population number. The financial part is missing ( not so much in Fascism) as money should be slowly overcome as means of exchange. Debt in this case is entropic, and manifests itself as scarcity of goods. Innovation, productivity as the core competition and profit motive are lacking, in a planned exchange they can not have a role. It is voluntaristic ( making the system by organized will power) – we have to do this or that- the Priest Party agendas.
The Chinese model is a sort of hybrid, is Capitalism Below and the Caste of Priests Above. Innovation,productivity are there as is the competition and profit. Clever. This two models, the Soviet Union and China,allow no dissent worth mentioning.
