Witchdoctor: yes. As in the case of European Union, even in the times of pandemic and its huge effects, many ,even in science believe that there is no tipping point even in the Climate change.
They believe that only the current phenomena get more pronounced. The waves get bigger, the sea rises a little, the wind gets somewhat stronger, the desert spreads little more, the rain falls in bigger amounts in shorter time,and that the extremes get more extreme.But there is no tipping point, it is all just more”chaotic”, whatever thermodynamically this means in a given strip of time.
Edit:So, what are the objections to this more of the same belief?
WD: For example, the Butterfly effect is just a tale for many climate scientists even if they believe in climate change. The shift of paradigm is impossible by the same reasoning. Or that the incommensurability is a tale.The quantum mechanics are a tale, not to be applied to the gross phenomena. The quantization behavior of, for. ex. A monsoon and the rain and cloud formation are a tale.
The tipping point which leads to the Planck Constant, which is fortunately restrained, is a tale.

I was sitting on the balcony, watching the weather changes, clouds, sea, distant hills. Lazy bum I was. Suddenly I saw people hurrying into a not so distant flat opposite my balcony. After a while a car stopped, a man stepped out of the car and funnily he was already wearing a mask. He rung a bell and even more funny , the people which opened the door of the flat already were wearing masks!

WD: I figured it out that they were in a law enforced virus quarantine, showing the man, who was definitely the inspector, the papers of the quarantine order. It was real fun, since I never saw these people wearing masks, not even on the street.
Edit: Certainly they were clairvoyant, knowing that the Inspector will come soon to visit them.

WD: Well, the obvious. The same afternoon, all of them, 6, or 7 persons, they went out, without masks.To the town, it was a weekend.
They had visits the next days, 4, 5 people, so they were 9 or 10 inside having a party, they went out and in as nothing happened.No quarantine can hold them.And they had posh cars to show around.
Edit: yes, the inspectors never come back twice to check on the crime scene, and especially on the weekends, they like the beach.
WD: See. The quarantined people figured it out that they can get scott free. Next time they will try something different, to get scott free, some other breach of rules.
